💼 About This Role

You'll develop, scale, and optimize advanced welding processes for power electronics assemblies at a startup building grid-scale converters. You'll lead process and equipment development from concept to production ramp, working closely with design teams and external suppliers. This role offers the chance to build high-volume manufacturing lines from the ground up using first-principles engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop, scale, and optimize ultrasonic, laser, and vibration welding processes
• Specify and commission high-speed welding equipment and automation
• Integrate welding processes with conveyors, robots, and inline inspection
• Conduct FAT/SAT, validation, and process qualification for production lines

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering
• 7+ years in welding process development or automation
• Hands-on experience with ultrasonic, laser, or vibration welding
• Experience with automation, robotics, PLCs, and inline inspection

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in power electronics, EV, or aerospace assemblies
• Supplier development and industrialization experience
