Description
As a Licensed Maintenance Technician, you'll troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at a growing B-Corp certified snack company.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as Millwright Mechanic, Maintenance technician or Electrician
- Red Seal Millwright Mechanics or Provincial Electricians Ticket (433A, 442A, 309D)
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Hands-on experience with power transmission systems, electric/electronic controls, pneumatics/hydraulics
- Proven machining skills using lathes, milling, and drill press
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Perform minor repairs, equipment set up, change over, overhaul, fabrication
- Provide technical assistance in Preventive Maintenance optimization
- Assist outside contractors and ensure GMP policies are adhered to
