💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a field engineer supporting Los Alamos National Laboratory's Plutonium Infrastructure Engineering Division. You'll manage design changes and provide technical support for construction teams in a mission-critical, high-consequence environment. This role directly enables national security and nuclear modernization efforts.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Serve as field engineering and project management across planning, design, and closeout.
  • Manage design change processes with internal and external teams.
  • Provide technical support for construction teams during installation and commissioning.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure compliance with LANL standards.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management with 3+ years experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal work.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
  • Working knowledge of engineering contracts and construction interfaces.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
  • Experience with NQA-1 and glovebox systems.
  • Familiarity with DOE orders (e.g., DOE O 413.3B) and AutoCAD.
