Description

You will design wire harnesses and interconnects for aerospace/defense platforms, owning the wiring design from schematic to integration. This role combines hands-on engineering with rapid prototyping in a small, fast-moving team supporting warfighters and critical missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of wire harness design experience in aerospace or defense
• Proficiency with harness design tools like Siemens Capital
• Understanding of signal integrity, cable selection, shielding, and EMC
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553, IPC/WHMA-A-620, RTCA/DO-160 standards

Responsibilities

• Design wire harnesses and flex circuits including schematic, routing, connector selection, and assembly drawings
• Perform wiring layout for high-voltage/current, high-speed data buses, and mixed-signal designs
• Create and maintain wiring diagrams, harness drawings, BOMs, and interface documentation
• Conduct analysis and define testing procedures for harness compliance with performance and safety standards
• Support design verification, assembly, test, and integration of wiring and interconnects
