Description

You will join a cross-functional team to build tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll platform, working on complex challenges that enable global employment. Your work will directly impact business growth through scalable, secure, and reliable production systems.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping production systems
• Experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, and close quality loops
• Experience with Postgres and CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs, React/Vue/Angular

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Provide product feedback and suggest solutions to problems
• Maintain understanding of team’s domain from product and engineering sides
• Contribute to shared codebase, debug issues, and participate in code reviews
• Mentor other engineers and participate in non-team activities like support rotations and hiring
