Description

In this role, you will build and deploy sophisticated machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems within Oscar's risk adjustment domain. You will work with large healthcare datasets, leverage modern ML Ops platforms like Vertex AI, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful model implementation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in industry or quantitative technical fields
• 3+ years of work experience with SQL, R, and/or Python
• 3+ years building data models and using advanced analytics methods
• Advanced degree in quantitative or technical field (bonus)
• Experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance industries (bonus)

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth data analysis and advanced feature engineering using large healthcare datasets
• Design, develop, and validate advanced ML/AI models (regression, classification, deep learning, NLP, gradient boosting, LLMs)
• Leverage modern ML Ops platforms (e.g., Vertex AI) to deploy and maintain production-level models
• Build and maintain supporting data systems, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure for AI/ML systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, and product teams to identify high-impact opportunities
