Description

You will work on improving system non-functional qualities such as availability, scalability, security, and durability, while creating automation and supporting the engineering department with tools and infrastructure. Your role involves participating in Scrum-based work management, monitoring systems, and taking ownership of initiatives to help build a cloud application for construction project management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience as a DevOps Engineer with Google Cloud
• Experience with GCP at a senior level
• Experience with observability tools: GCP Metrics, Grafana, Prometheus
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab CI/CD or similar
• Scripting skills in Bash and experience with SQL databases (Postgres preferred)

Responsibilities

• Improve system non-functional qualities: availability, scalability, security, durability
• Engage in Scrum-based work management, participating in team meetings and discussions
• Create automation and process improvements
• Support and develop new tools for the Engineering department
• Monitor systems and create infrastructure documentation
