Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist. This full-time, part-time, or per diem role serves adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Charlottesville and Staunton, VA.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of VA
• Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
• At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
• Ability to work independently and travel to client homes

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Conduct tests and client education to help clients attain or maintain optimal physical well-being
• Perform other activities as requested
• Work with adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities
• Complete home health visits on a per visit basis
