💼 About This Role

You'll join Vast to define security architectures for next-generation space stations, ensuring continuous human presence in space. You'll drive top-level system requirements and security controls from ground to orbit.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop top-level system requirements and flow down to subsystems.
• Define security development and test efforts for ground, link, and vehicle segments.
• Support project planning, task execution, tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with functions to align security requirements and system impacts.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of security architecture and system requirements development.
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and security testing.
• Familiarity with cryptographic methods, access controls, and secure communications.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance.
• Understanding of the SPARTA framework.
• Prior experience developing security features for a space system.
