Description

You will contribute to Mozilla's localization infrastructure, working on open-source libraries like moz-l10n and the Pontoon translation management system. You'll improve internationalization features across Firefox and collaborate with a global community of volunteer localizers.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript libraries and tools
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern development workflows
• Experience with open source development and community collaboration
• Ability to work in a distributed team across time zones
• Professional fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Python and JavaScript libraries (e.g., moz-l10n) and tools for localization infrastructure
• Improve localization and internationalization within the Firefox codebase
• Collaborate to design and implement new Pontoon features
• Engage with community volunteer developers and localizers
• Collaborate with teammates and internal clients across regions and time zones
