💼 About This Role

You'll architect and implement flight software for Reflect's first satellite, selecting operating systems and communication protocols. Your work will enable reliable, fault-tolerant systems for LEO missions. You'll collaborate with avionics engineers and own the full software lifecycle from design to HIL testing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and implement embedded flight software for satellites
• Write modular, validated, and fault-tolerant software systems
• Collaborate with avionics engineers on component selection
• Develop software for electromechanical components like ADCS, motors

📋 Requirements

• Experience implementing C or C++ on autonomous electromechanical systems
• Strong understanding of high-reliability software design and architecture
• Experience architecting high-reliability electromechanical systems
• Experience operating and learning from a deployed electromechanical system

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with satellite communication protocols
• Familiarity with HIL/flatsat testing
• Background in robotics or aerospace
