Description

You'll design and build tooling to help customers migrate from legacy relational databases to MongoDB and generate code, working on backend services, streaming data systems, and integration with generative AI.

Requirements

• 6+ years engineering experience in backend, distributed, or core platform development
• Proficiency in Java, Rust, C/C++, or Python with systems-level programming understanding
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Change Data Capture (CDC) tools like Debezium
• Experience with relational data modeling and SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures

Responsibilities

• Contribute high-quality backend code to data migration engine and AI orchestration platform
• Develop robust backend services that orchestrate AI functionalities
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges in data flow and orchestration
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
• Help troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems
