💼 About This Role

You'll build the edge platform that powers an AI video security solution at Lumana, enabling real-time streaming, recording, and AI processing on device. Your work will directly impact reliability and performance of a hybrid edge-cloud architecture used by customers daily. You'll enjoy meaningful ownership in a fast-moving startup with a small, dynamic team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop core edge platform across diverse hardware environments
• Integrate video streaming, recording, and real-time AI processing
• Design low-latency, high-performance edge systems
• Build secure communication pipelines between edge and cloud

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with systems or performance-critical apps
• Strong experience with Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Proven experience with multithreaded and concurrent programming
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerization

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with video streaming or video pipeline development
• Familiarity with storage systems and data management at the edge
• Experience integrating with cloud services (AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, Kafka)
