Description

You will drive the adoption of RTI Connext® Drive as the communication backbone for next-generation vehicles. You'll provide architectural guidance, develop proof-of-concepts, and ensure integration with safety and cybersecurity standards while collaborating closely with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years at an Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier developing complex vehicle systems.
• Expert in E/E architecture design and data flow for distributed embedded systems.
• Proficient in automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP.
• Understanding of functional safety concepts (ASIL, ISO 26262) and experience with ROS 2, Adaptive AUTOSAR, or similar middleware.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Connext Drive as core connectivity platform in safety-critical and non-safety systems, defining system-level architecture, interfaces, and data flow.
• Translate vehicle functional needs into technical Connext Drive requirements and ensure end-to-end traceability.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) demonstrating latency, determinism, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Work with customer safety teams to align integration with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434).
• Provide technical guidance, training, code review, and debugging support to customers.
