Description

You will build, modify, and troubleshoot test equipment and systems for the Starbase Structures team at SpaceX. This includes fabricating fluid systems, mechanical assemblies, and data control systems, as well as supporting test operations in a fast-paced environment. Your work directly contributes to advancing humanity's ability to explore the stars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years experience with mechanical systems, high-pressure fluid systems, instrumentation, data/control systems, or test operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team and rapidly learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
• Experience with aerospace testing, hydraulics, or precision measuring preferred

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and troubleshoot test equipment including fluid systems, mechanical assemblies, data and control systems, and instrumentation
• Fabricate high-pressure fluid panels, plumbing, and hydraulic manifolds
• Install instrumentation, build and route harnessing, and troubleshoot wiring issues
• Assemble, modify, and inspect test articles including structural fabrication and leak detection
• Participate in rigging, crane operations, and test operations for hazardous systems
