Description

You will build software and platforms to automate infrastructure operations, monitor system availability, and improve reliability at Lyft. You'll work on data streaming platforms like Kafka to support hundreds of services impacting millions of users.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in software development, automation, and systems engineering
• Proficiency in Go or Python
• Experience operating large-scale infrastructure in public cloud (AWS)
• Experience with infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze metrics for fault detection and performance enhancement
• Design and deploy tooling to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency
• Balance feature development speed with service-level objectives
• Operate and improve infrastructure using industry best practices
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
