Description

Angi is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant for a temporary role. You'll prepare payroll journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, process biweekly Canadian payroll, and support year-end compliance. This is a high-impact position for a seasoned professional looking for meaningful contract work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of payroll accounting experience
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar platforms
• Knowledge of US federal and state payroll compliance; Canadian payroll experience a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred; CPA or CPP a plus
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong cross-functional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, resolving variances within 30 days
• Accurately reconcile and record payroll-related cash transactions
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities with full statutory compliance
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to internal payroll records
