Description

Support core research and product development activities by implementing mechanical designs, conducting verification and validation tests, and participating in design for excellence (DFX) working closely with the R&D team and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science or Engineering
• Experience with medical device research and/or development
• 3+ years with mechanical design and CAD tools
• 2+ years with manufacturing and assembly process development

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and subassemblies meeting user, functional and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with R&D team for successful product design and manufacture
• Research and work with external suppliers for custom parts
• Participate in risk management and develop verification/validation processes with Quality team
• Conduct reliability testing including drop, ingress, thermal, and cycle
