As a Cameras Expert at Catawiki, you will curate and grow camera auctions with a focus on the Japanese market. You'll leverage your technical expertise to evaluate lots, onboard sellers, and optimize auction performance for a global audience.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of analogue and digital cameras, optical and darkroom equipment
• Strong understanding of the Japanese camera market and collector landscape
• Professional trading experience on Catawiki, eBay, Yahoo! Japan Auction, etc.
• Commercial acumen in reserve pricing, sell rates, and auction strategy
• Fluency in Japanese and English; active network of dealers, shops, collectors

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and curate camera lots for accuracy, authenticity, and commercial appeal
• Create weekly auction selections aligned with collector demand and market trends
• Guide sellers on pricing, reserve strategies, and performance optimization
• Onboard and develop professional dealers and collectors in Japan and Asia
• Monitor auction results and use data insights to improve category performance
