Description

You will design and build autonomous fault handling, telemetry data platforms, and reliability systems for a satellite constellation. You'll work on eliminating manual processes, applying ML for anomaly detection, and collaborating with mission teams to ensure high data quality and operational insight.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience
• Strong Python skills across backend services, data pipelines, and automation
• Experience with data analysis to solve complex operational or technical problems
• Solid Linux fundamentals (bash scripting, system administration)
• Experience with containerized development and production environments

Responsibilities

• Design and build autonomous fault detection, isolation, and recovery pipelines for satellites and ground stations
• Build telemetry data platform for ingestion, storage, and analytics with ML/AI anomaly detection
• Define and instrument SLOs and reliability metrics; build monitoring and alerting systems
• Develop real-time dashboards and operator tooling for mission status
• Automate manual processes; design automated mission execution including planning and scheduling
