Description

You will lead systems engineering for the development and certification of advanced fly-by-wire flight control systems at Archer, managing requirements across multiple architectural levels and providing technical leadership to international suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related field
• 10 years of experience with Fly-by-Wire system development and certification
• 6 years of experience on aircraft development and certification in multiple countries with different certification authorities in 3 jurisdictions
• Knowledge of SAE ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254 aerospace standards
• Experience with aircraft certification projects with international authorities

Responsibilities

• Conduct discipline and systems engineering for FBW flight control system development and certification
• Manage system requirements across multiple architectural levels throughout product lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to international suppliers
• Lead laboratory testing including HIL and integrated system testing, supporting flight test operations
• Conduct system analysis using simulation, laboratory, and flight test data
