You'll own the mechanical and electrical health of AeroVect's autonomous tractor fleet at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Your core impact is diagnosing and resolving hardware issues to keep autonomous ground vehicles running safely in a live airport environment. This highly autonomous role blends mechanical repair, electrical debug, and cross-functional coordination.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on autonomous tow tractors.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on wiring harnesses, CAN bus, and embedded hardware.
  • Coordinate and execute Preventive Maintenance Inspections with airport teams.
  • Triage fleet bug tickets and maintain accurate repair logs and status summaries.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on hardware field engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience reading wiring diagrams, vehicle schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, crimping, soldering, and fabrication.

  • Experience with autonomous vehicles, mobile robots, or airport GSE.
  • Familiarity with CAN bus diagnostics and vehicle controller systems.
  • Exposure to sensor hardware including LiDAR, radar, or camera systems.
