💼 About This Role

You'll work on Multigres, our open-source distributed database system that brings horizontal scaling to Postgres. You'll architect and implement critical distributed database infrastructure including sharding, consensus protocols, and materialization systems. Collaborate with our Postgres, networking, and infrastructure teams to push the boundaries of distributed databases.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement query routing logic for sharded databases
• Build consensus and replication systems for distributed durability
• Develop materialization pipelines for migrations and change data capture
• Contribute to connection pooling and workload isolation

📋 Requirements

• Database sharding, relational algebra, and Postgres internals expertise
• Experience with consensus protocols like Raft or Paxos
• Proficiency in distributed transactions and stream processing
• Building robust, performant distributed systems with strong observability

• Experience with Rust or system-level programming
