Description

You will be the bridge between design engineering and production, ensuring propeller components are manufacturable and meet aerospace standards. You'll provide daily liaison support, evaluate designs for producibility, create manufacturing plans, resolve shop floor issues, and drive continuous improvement. This role directly impacts product success in a fast-paced aerospace startup environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years manufacturing engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong command of Lean manufacturing and manufacturing system design
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and composite fabrication/assembly
• Expert-level drawing interpretation and GD&T application

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing and liaison engineering support to production teams
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability including tooling and process readiness
• Create and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, and MBOMs
• Resolve shop floor issues using root cause and corrective action methods
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and throughput
