Description

In this role, you will navigate CarGurus' rich data environment to drive impactful outcomes for customers and the business. You'll work cross-functionally to build core data assets, empower go-to-market teams with revenue-generating insights, and design novel metrics to guide the business, communicating complex findings to leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of analytics experience with proven track record influencing business strategy through complex modeling
• Expert-level skills in SQL, Python, and dbt
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills
• Hands-on experience leveraging GenAI to optimize workflows

Responsibilities

• Communicate and present complex quantitative findings to company leadership
• Conduct exploratory analyses using SQL and Python bridging disparate data sources
• Architect new data assets and production-grade data marts via dbt
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to provide data-backed proof of value in client-facing meetings
• Craft metrics that define success and build intuitive dashboards
