You'll manage and optimize database systems for a technology company serving federal clients, ensuring database performance, reliability, and security. Your core impact will involve designing schemas, implementing backup and recovery procedures, and tuning performance for mission-critical government systems. You'll also evaluate new database technologies and provide expertise to cross-functional teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain database security controls and access management
• Manage database version upgrades, patches, and high availability solutions
• Automate routine database administration tasks
• Conduct capacity planning and implement monitoring and alerting systems

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of database engineering experience
• Experience with Oracle database platforms
• Experience with database modernization or cloud transition efforts
• Active Secret clearance and meet DoD 8140 requirements

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and PL/SQL tuning tools
• Experience supporting disaster recovery and backup validation
• Familiarity with federal security requirements like STIG, ATO, and POA&M
