Description

You'll be the technical lead for Block's Total Rewards team, designing and deploying automation for compensation processes, managing compensation software, and building self-service tools and dashboards to drive a scalable, technology-enabled compensation model.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in HRIS, Compensation Operations, People Analytics, or HR Technology.
  • Expertise with Workday integrations and other HCM platforms.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms and building end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and guiding non-technical teams in adopting version control.
  • Solid foundation in global compensation principles (market pricing, equity mechanics, annual review cycles).

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy end-to-end automation for compensation processes like benchmarking, market pricing, offer approvals, and statement generation.
  • Serve as primary technical administrator for compensation management software and define HRIS integration requirements.
  • Build and maintain self-service tools for HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and leaders (e.g., mobility calculators, global transfer modeling).
  • Design and maintain Total Rewards dashboards for real-time visibility into compensation metrics and budget utilization.
  • Lead development and training of internal AI agents to handle and route compensation inquiries.
