Description

You'll build foundational security services and internal platforms that enable Klaviyo engineers to develop securely and at high speed. Your work will directly impact how hundreds of engineers and hundreds of thousands of customers interact with our products.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux and computer networking
• Experience writing code in Python, Ruby, Go, or similar
• Deep experience with cloud infrastructure at high scale
• Experience building and operating highly available systems end to end
• Deep expertise in modern web engineering areas like backend services or data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Ship foundational security services to enable faster engineering with confidence
• Design and develop systems for highly available scalable services
• Achieve breakthroughs in systems throughput by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
• Champion best practices through collaboration and technical design review
• Mentor and pair with other engineers to improve software quality
