💼 About This Role

You'll own the PQC research roadmap at a frontier blockchain protocol, converting cryptographic research into implementable protocol designs. Your work will directly shape cryptographic foundations including post-quantum signature selection, migration strategies, and quantum money primitives. You'll collaborate with protocol and security engineers to produce publishable research and concrete deliverables.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead PQ algorithm research and selection with security rationale.
• Design cryptographic agility and migration strategies.
• Produce high-quality research outputs and protocol specs.
• Collaborate with engineering on benchmarks and integration.

📋 Requirements

• Master's/PhD in Cryptography or related field.
• Deep expertise in post-quantum cryptography research and deployment.
• Ability to conduct independent research and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Excellent technical communication for specs and security rationales.

✨ Nice to Have

• Track record of academic publications in cryptography/security.
• Experience at a cryptography research lab or security-focused company.
• Programming in Rust, Python, or TypeScript.
