Description

You will perform development and production of Space System components and satellites, including assembly, integration, testing, and faultfinding. You'll work on flight hardware with minimal oversight, contributing to rapid prototyping and production of satellites and satellite components.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience for Technician III; 8+ years for Senior (preferably in Aerospace)
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly tools, bench testing, and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with working on flight hardware, satellites, or other high-reliability systems
• HS Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform development and production of Space System componentry and Satellites with minimal documentation and oversight
• Assemble or perform rework using electronic and mechanical fabrication methods on components including Fluid Systems, Propulsion Systems, Reaction Wheels, Star trackers, Deep Space Radios, Magnetorquers, Flight Computers, and Solar Panel Arrays
• Perform tests on prototyping hardware with minimal direction from engineers
• Manufacture and integrate space standard harnesses
• Author new or revised assembly work procedures and documentation
