💼 About This Role

You'll teach Science and Social Studies to grades 6-8 in a self-contained, social-emotional learning classroom. You'll co-teach with a virtual teacher and have paraprofessional support with a small class of around 10 students. This role offers the freedom to personalize learning within a P.B.I.S. structure.

• Teach/facilitate all subjects in remote and in-person settings
• Provide a differentiated learning environment
• Collaborate with curriculum and clinical staff
• Personalize learning for a small classroom

📋 Requirements

• IL PEL with LBS1 Certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to teach multiple grade levels as populations change
• Ability to work with youth with emotional/behavioral difficulties
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
