Description

You'll join a cross-functional team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR platform using Elixir, Phoenix, and Postgres. You'll lead projects, contribute to code quality, and help shape engineering workflows with automation and AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping secure, reliable, scalable systems
• Practical experience designing agentic/automation workflows
• Proficiency in Postgres, CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins)
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs, React/Vue/Angular

Responsibilities

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Actively participate in product work: provide feedback, suggest solutions
• Provide code reviews, debug technical issues
• Mentor and guide other engineers
• Build reusable agentic workflows to deliver outcomes faster
