💼 About This Role

You'll build the recruiting function from the ground up at a high-growth startup, owning full-cycle recruiting for critical hires and partnering with founders on strategy. Your core impact will be shaping company culture and velocity through every hire. This player-coach role requires you to be both hands-on in sourcing and closing candidates while building the infrastructure for scale.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Partner with founders to define hiring strategy and forecast headcount
  • Own full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and closing
  • Build recruiting infrastructure: ATS, interview processes, scorecards
  • Develop employer brand through careers page, job descriptions, and social presence

📋 Requirements

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience with 2+ years in leadership
  • Track record of building recruiting at a high-growth startup (10→50+ employees)
  • Hands-on recruiting skill in sourcing, screening, and closing
  • Deep networks in technical talent markets: engineering, product, design, AI/ML

  • Experience recruiting for AI/ML roles
  • Background recruiting in the same vertical (e.g., fintech, healthtech)
  • Established relationships with executive recruiters
