You will lead a team of engineers, driving technical excellence through mentoring, process optimization, and modern engineering practices. You'll balance feature demands with codebase health, overseeing technical quality and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineering teams with a track record of fostering psychological safety and technical growth
• Deep background in software development allowing meaningful, low-level feedback on architecture and implementation
• Proven ability to implement technical standards and development workflows that increase team velocity
• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders or TAMs to translate technical blockers into prioritized solutions
• Ability to balance feature demands with engineering-first needs of a healthy codebase

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers through consistent 1:1s, career mapping, and performance coaching
• Own and refine the technical development process, establishing clear standards and workflows
• Champion modern engineering practices including TDD, AI-augmented development, and documentation-as-code
• Cultivate a culture of rigorous, constructive feedback through code reviews and design discussions
• Lead internal-first projects like tech debt reduction, architectural refactors, and API standardization
• Participate in architecture reviews and coach engineers on performance and code quality
