Description

As a Software Engineer Intern on Roku's UI team, you'll own a scoped project aligned to the UI/SDK roadmap, such as improving a UI component or building developer tools. You'll contribute to front-end and embedded UI codebases using modern languages, apply best practices in profiling and testing, and collaborate with platform services.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Engineering degree program (penultimate year preferred)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Python, or related technologies
• Experience or interest in TypeScript and HTML Canvas UI
• Interest in front-end development and UI components
• Curiosity and experience using GenAI tools

Responsibilities

• Own a well-defined project advancing UI/SDK capabilities
