💼 About This Role

You'll build Gamma's legal operations function from scratch, owning systems, processes, and tooling as the first dedicated legal ops hire. You'll assess needs, select tools, and create workflows to let lawyers focus on substantive work. This is a ground-up build role at a profitable, fast-growing company with over 70 million users.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (MSAs, DPAs, NDAs)
• Run enterprise deal cycles alongside the GTM team
• Evolve Gamma's data privacy compliance program
• Advise Product and Engineering on AI compliance and data handling

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of legal operations experience with 2+ years in-house at a tech/SaaS company
• Experience building legal ops infrastructure from early stage and selecting/implementing a CLM
• Strong technical fluency to evaluate legal tech and configure workflows
• Project management discipline to run multiple concurrent workstreams

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at a company transitioning from consumer to enterprise sales
• Familiarity with SOC 2 audit processes and security compliance coordination
• Experience with AI-related compliance workflows or emerging regulations
