💼 About This Role
You'll develop cutting-edge Reinforcement Learning and Imitation Learning algorithms for humanoid robots, working with novel haptic and proprioceptive sensing techniques on an in-house dexterous hand. Your work will bridge simulation and real-world deployment to advance robotic manipulation.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Create and enhance RL/IL algorithms for manipulation tasks
- Design RL/IL training and data collection pipelines
- Evaluate algorithms in simulation and deploy on physical robots
- Collaborate with diverse team to innovate algorithms
📋 Requirements
- PhD in ML, CS, Math, or equivalent practical background
- 5+ years deploying robotic manipulation tasks in sim and real
- 5+ years applying RL/IL methods to robotics
- Python 3.8+ with PyTorch or TensorFlow
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience with sim-to-real transfer
- Track record of publications in ICRA, IROS, CORL
- Working knowledge of ROS2
