💼 About This Role

You'll join the Customer Reliability Engineering team at Astronomer to become an Apache Airflow expert and help customers optimize their managed Airflow service. You'll solve challenging Airflow problems, work with Kubernetes and cloud engineering, and contribute to open-source Airflow. This role offers deep technical growth in a fully remote, distributed team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide Apache Airflow expertise to customers via support tickets
• Optimize Airflow configurations and identify bugs
• Contribute to open-source Airflow or internal monitoring systems
• Participate in on-call rotation for weekend coverage

📋 Requirements

• 4 years of experience with Python
• 1 year of experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Containers
• Experience in Airflow administration and DAG creation
• Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
