Description

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer on the Starlink team, you will own consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production, developing both the products and the factories that manufacture them to deliver internet to underserved communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with CAD and FEA software
• 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design and manufacturing
• Proficient in 3D CAD (NX preferred) and GD&T
• Ability to work long hours and travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Own Starlink consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and launch
• Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization
• Test and iterate on products for high field reliability and performance
• Design and develop production lines including robot end effector design and automation programming
• Establish efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration
