💼 About This Role

You'll oversee deployment and maintenance of datacenter equipment across Fastly's global edge cloud platform. You'll lead PoP installations and provide technical mentorship to the team. You'll work cross-functionally with a player/coach approach to ensure reliable infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee rack, stack, cabling and deployment of data center equipment
• Train and mentor new hires and existing team members
• Order cross connect circuits, configure BGP, update circuit records
• Organize workload using JIRA, write SOW/SOP documentation

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of data center operations at ISP or hosting provider
• Expert-level knowledge of power and cabling standards (NEMA, IEC, ANSI/TIA)
• Proficiency in Linux environment
• Experience with vendors for PoP installations and hardware repairs

✨ Nice to Have

• Fluke CCTT Copper/Fiber or BICSI Level II certification
• Understanding of DWDM architecture
• Bash or Python scripting knowledge
