You will lead the technical strategy for Roblox's Marketplace, focusing on the intersection of shopping, expression, and foundational systems. This hands-on role drives the architecture for Avatar UGC systems and scalable infrastructure, balancing technical excellence with product intuition to serve millions of users.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in software engineering or infrastructure with large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in scalable architectures and high-performance systems
• Strong product intuition aligning technical strategy with business goals
• Full-stack versatility and ability to tackle cross-stack challenges
• BS in Computer Science or related field; MS/PhD preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction for marketplace shopping experiences and expression
• Architect Avatar UGC systems for 3D content lifecycle and behavioral signals
