💼 About This Role

You'll support cryo-EM workflows from grid vitrification to data collection at Fathem, a Flagship Pioneering biotech. Your work on high-quality data generation will directly feed AI-driven computational models. This hands-on role offers the chance to redefine how biology is understood.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare cryo-EM grids and collect data across diverse biomolecular systems.
• Execute workflows from vitrification to high-throughput data acquisition.
• Optimize grid prep and imaging protocols to improve success rates.
• Maintain rigorous records in ELN/LIMS systems for reproducibility.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, physics, chemistry, or related field.
• At least 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a lab.
• Hands-on experience with cryo-EM grid preparation for soluble and membrane proteins.
• Proficiency with ThermoFisher cryo-TEMs and automated data acquisition software.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with membrane protein samples.
• Familiarity with SerialEM or Leginon.
• Background in AI-driven technology development.
