Description

You will work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them develop independence through community activities, hobbies, and daily living skills. Build meaningful relationships while supporting clients to thrive as valued community members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Patience, empathy, and dedication

Responsibilities

• Build long-lasting relationships in one-on-one settings
• Spend time on client's favorite hobbies and activities (e.g., Special Olympics)
• Support clients in developing independence and achieving goals (budgeting, socializing, shopping, using public transportation, exercise)
• Attend to individual needs with dignity and respect
• Ensure client safety and well-being in home and community
