💼 About This Role

You'll lead radar algorithm development for a VC-funded startup building spaceborne radar systems for earth observation and defense. You'll own everything from signal digitization to data analytics in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. This role offers the chance to shape groundbreaking radar technology from concept to deployment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect, design, and simulate radar DSP and SAR algorithms
• Implement radar algorithms including SAR image formation and target tracking
• Optimize algorithms for FPGA, embedded processors, edge compute, and servers
• Generate test plans to validate radar algorithms on hardware platforms

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in engineering, CS, or physics
• 10+ years in sensor algorithm development (ideally radar)
• Experience with MATLAB, Octave, or Python
• Experience with SAR image formation (Stripmap, Spotlight, etc.)

✨ Nice to Have

• Pulse-Doppler radar with multiple phase centers
• Deep/machine learning for detection/classification
• Active or previously held TS/SCI clearance
