Description

You will design, implement, and maintain data models, database infrastructure, and instrumentation for Charlie Health's transactional systems. Collaborating across engineering teams, you'll ensure data quality and consistency, lead migration to modern data models, and improve developer productivity through shared tooling and documentation.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Backend or Data Platform Engineering
• 3+ years writing production-level SQL and backend code
• Recent expertise with Python as primary language
• Experience with data modeling concepts and best practices
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog and Cloudwatch

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evolve data models and schemas in Postgres
• Develop and maintain data access standards and patterns in Python and Typescript
• Lead migration to improved data models for core business concepts
• Measure and improve data quality, correctness, stability, and usability
• Mentor engineers and improve data modeling standards and processes
