Description

As a Software Engineer on the Test Software team at SpaceX's Texas Rocket Development Facility, you will design, develop, and maintain software for test stand data acquisition and control, data post-processing, and other engineering needs. You will work closely with test and electrical engineers to rapidly deploy high-performance software, directly controlling rocket tests on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related science discipline
• 1+ years of software development experience (internship qualifies)
• Experience with National Instruments hardware (cDAQ, cRIO, PXI) and software (LabVIEW) preferred
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or other text-based programming languages
• Ability to work onsite in McGregor, TX, including extended hours and weekends

• Architect and develop software for data acquisition and control on test stands
• Develop data storage and analysis solutions
• Automate engineering and business functions
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, test engineers, and IT for computing and network solutions
• Own all aspects of software development including design, testing, and integration
