You'll lead the team that builds Kafka UI, Tableflow UI, and Governance UI in Confluent Cloud, owning core experiences for data engineers and governance stakeholders. Your work will streamline data discovery and governance for users operating streaming data platforms. This role offers direct impact on product vision while coaching a high-performing engineering team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own vision and execution for Kafka UI, Tableflow UI, and Governance UI.
• Work with product, design, and TPMs to drive roadmap.
• Partner with backend teams to define API contracts.
• Build, grow, and lead a team of engineers.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years software development with 3+ years engineering management.
• Strong experience with Kafka or data streaming platforms.
• Technical expertise in distributed systems or cloud-native services.
• Proven execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Experience with governance and platform UX (catalog, lineage, schema lifecycle).
• Advanced degree in computer science or related field.
