Description

You will work under the direction of a licensed Engineer on new construction and renovation projects in educational, healthcare, corporate commercial, and science and technology sectors. You'll perform design of ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment selection for HVAC systems, prepare building load calculations, assist in Revit/BIM modeling, and support project coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required by hire date
• Knowledge of heat transfer, solar energy, and advanced fluid dynamics in HVAC design
• Related student internship work experience preferred
• EIT, LEED accreditation preferred
• Experience with Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform designs of ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment selection for HVAC systems under supervision
• Assist with plumbing and fire protection designs
• Prepare building load calculations using modeling software
• Assist in Revit/BIM modeling of HVAC construction drawings from schematic design to construction administration
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents
