Description

You will provide strategic input to translational and clinical development of projects focused on neurologic/neuropsychiatric indications, leading cross-functional teams to translate preclinical data to humans and develop biomarkers for novel targets.

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
• At least 5 years of translational, clinical trial, or drug development experience
• Board-certified/eligible in Neurology or Pediatric Neurology highly preferred
• Experience across various neuropsychiatric disease areas
• Working knowledge of early clinical trial methodology (Phase 0-2)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop translation strategies and biomarkers for neurological/neuropsychiatric targets
• Interface with research and drug development leaders to inform disease indication strategies
• Guide preclinical model development in collaboration with discovery and biomarker scientists
• Design and execute experimental medicine studies for proof-of-mechanism in neuropsychiatric diseases
• Provide medical content for protocols, Investigator Brochures, and regulatory submissions
