You'll guide the design of Terran R mechanisms like stage separation and landing gear. Your work will span full design cycles, from conceptualization to test. You'll collaborate across teams to integrate subsystems within printed primary structure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and test stage separation or fairing deployment systems
• Conceptualize landing gear or aero surface actuation
• Define design criteria and subsystem requirements
• Conduct trade studies on mechanism concepts

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
• 8+ years of full cycle design engineering experience including CAD, analysis, build and test
• Fundamental knowledge of kinematic synthesis, actuation, mechatronics, and instrumentation
• Proven track record of technical problem-solving and hands-on hardware build experience

✨ Nice to Have

• 10+ years of aerospace experience or advanced engineering degree
• Experience with launch vehicle mechanisms and multi-body dynamics
• Experience with NX, TeamCenter, Ansys, or Femap, and Python or MATLAB
